Every year, Americans apparently donate hundreds of billions of dollars to charity, and yet, in almost any city in America, you can walk through the streets and find hundreds or thousands of poor and homeless people. This picture does not seem to look right to me; how can there be so many poor and homeless people throughout America, who do not have enough money to live on, when hundreds of billions of American dollars are donated every year to charity? When I walk through downtown Vancouver, Washington, I see countless starving men, women, and children, and I ask, "Where are those billions of charity dollars? Definitely not here. They are no where to be seen. Not when these Vietnam veteran American warriors are left to live on the streets, not when these single mothers with their children are unable to afford to feed their kids, and they can barely make enough money to keep a roof over the heads of their hungry children, and not when homeless people are found in the alleys and trash heaps, having died of starvation or street diseases." On top of that, there are videos on YouTube where people document the fact that on many streets, hundreds of people in a matter of hours will walk blindly right past homeless people, giving them nothing, not even as little as a glance. To me, the issue is clear: although hundreds of billions of American dollars are spent each year on charity, obviously not enough of those billions are actually spent on the homeless and poor Americans. Large portions of those billions, if I'm not mistaken, are donated to the poor and homeless in other countries. Of course, those are third world countries, such as India, Afghanistan, or African countries. But the homeless in America are living in third world living conditions. Furthermore, we HAVE third world countries that exist inside of America; many of the Native American reservations are so poor and destitute, they are literally third world countries. They are real, American third world countries, right here inside the United States. The fact that by donating to other countries, you are donating to third world countries, is not a good enough reason for the charitable Americans that DO exist, to give their charities to other countries instead of giving their charities to the poor and homeless Americans, or the Native Americans living on the reservations for that matter. I could be wrong, but I believe at least part of the solution to the problem of abject poverty in the United States, is to encourage more individuals to take the matter into their OWN hands, by doing what they can as individuals to raise money for the poor and homeless Americans and Native Americans, and see to it THEMSELVES that the charity money goes directly to the poor and homeless in our land, rather than always trusting these higher organizations to do it. Of course, if you donate money to an individual who claims to be trying to raise money for the poor and homeless, you cannot be absolutely certain that they will give the money you donated, to the poor and homeless. But even if you donate money to an organization, you cannot be absolutely sure that organization will give it to those who need it. But if you donate your charity to an individual who claims to be raising money, as an individual, for charity, at least you are potentially helping an individual personally see to it that more charity money goes to those that need it. Similarly, you can even just give your money directly to a poor or homeless person yourself,

So I, as an individual, am running a campaign on gofundme, to try and raise charity money that I can personally give to the poor and homeless. So please, check out these two links.

I am making my own homemade naturally alcoholic, all natural, completely organic, mostly raw medicinal beer. Here I've written down dietary and chemical notes on the ingredients I'm using - onions, apples, ginger root, raw honey, yerba mate, and purified water. These are my notes on the overall effects of my experimental herbal beer formula. Since these are notes, and it's not a full-blown article or essay, the text is a tad "raw" :)

Onions:
Common cold, asthma, bacterial infections, respiratory problems, angina, coughs. Blood-thirsty insect repellent. Reduced appetite, atherosclerosis, chronic asthma, allergic bronchitis, common cold-related cough and cold syndromes.

Onions contain plenty of antioxidant compounds that are highly effective in neutralizing free radicals within the human body. Antibacterial properties include various antifungal applications. Contain sulfuric compounds and quercetins in traces of the essential oils. Contain mineral compouns such as calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, selenium and phosphorous. Onions are rich in Vitamin-C, Vitamin-B6 and dietary fiber. Chewing raw onions for 2-3 minutes can likely destroy all the germs in the oral area and in surrounding areas including the throat and lips. Onions contain plenty of phytochemicals that stimulate the Vitamin-C in the human body, which supercharges the body's immune system. Onions are anticoagulants, or blood thinners, and prevent the clumping of red blood cells, and the formation of blood clots. Onions can help manage diabetes; they naturally contain chromium, which helps the body manage it's blood sugar levels, and ensures the slow and gradual release of glucose to the body cells and the muscles. Onions aid in the prevention of cancer. They can relieve earaches, treat acne, purify the skin, cure gout and arthritis, relieve coughs and sore throats, onions can boost sexual drive or libido, treat anemia, relieve stomach aches, treat urinary disorders, treat tumors, and grant vigor and energy.

Apple:
Apples stimulate saliva production, thus reducing tooth decay. Apples aid against Alzheimer's and Parkinson's, fight the effects of aging on the brain by increasing the levels of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine, curb various forms of cancer, decrease the risk of diabetes, reduce cholesterol, contain a phenolic compound in their skins that prevents cholesterol from solidifying the arterial walls and restricting blood flow to the heart, prevent gallstones, defeat diarrhea and constipation, neutralize irritable bowel syndrome, stop hemorrhoids, regulate weight, boost immune system, and can prevent cataracts.

Ginger Root:
Ginger contains gingerols. Gingerols are the main bioactive compound in ginger, responsible for much of its medicinal properties. It has powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. Ginger can treat many varieties of nausea. Ginger can relieve pain and soreness in the muscles. Ginger's anti-inflammatory qualities can aid against osteoarthritis. Ginger may intensely reduce blood sugar and reduce risk of heart disease. Ginger can potentially cure chronic indigestion. Ginger can cure or lower menstrual pain. Ginger can lower cholesterol. Ginger can help prevent cancer. Ginger can improve brain function and prevent Alzheimer's. Ginger can help fight infections. Ginger can also induce relaxation and stress relief, and can grant the body more suppleness and nimbleness. Ginger is also a catalyst herb; catalyst herbs are herbs that are added to herbal formulae to enhance the overall effects of the formulae. Ginger will catalyze the effects of the other herbs it is combined with, making their effects more potent.

Honey:
Quick natural energy source, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, antioxidants, phytonutrients, bee pollen (vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, lipids, proteins), bee propolis (antibiotic and antiseptic properties, antiviral and anti-inflammatory, antifungal, anticancerous, antitumorous), good for cardiovascular health, good immune system boost, cough suppressant, decrease pollen allergy, helps cholesterol/blood sugar regulation, heals ulcers and treats bacterial infections. Aids upset stomach and nausea. Can help Candida. Raw honey is alkaline-forming, unlike processed honey which is acid-forming. Higher alkaline levels are better for the health.

Yerba Mate:
Enhances mental clarity, alertness, focus and concentration, grants a gentle, clean, calm and highly balanced energy boost, rarely interferes with sleep, does not cause jitters, enhances physical performance, 85mg caffeine/8oz, (since I am using 6 cups, I should be using about 4,080mg caffeine), yerba mate has more caffeine than other teas, but less than coffee, yerba mate enhances mood, memory, stimulates the brain's natural production of the neurotransmitter dopamine, which inproves motivation and productivity, contains two compounds related to caffeine called theobromine and theophylline, which are alkaloids. Theobromine is also found in chocolate, and induces a feel-good euphoria, acting as a relaxant instead of a stimulant, (and therefore, adds a counter balance to yerba mate). Yerba mate is nonaddictive and has no energy crash after the energy boost, unlike coffee. Contains phytonutrients, such as tannins, trace minerals, chlorophyll, flavenols, polyphenols and 15 amino acids. "Yerba mate contains 11 polyphenols and exhibits more antioxidant power than any other tea-based drink." Can boost the immune system, treat bladder infections, modulate the overactive immune responses seen in seasonal allergies. Can help lose weight. Contains saponins. Anti-inflammatory. Can reduce appetite, (counter balancing the onion), increase energy expenditure (by stimulating you, and causing you to become more active), can improve insulin sensitivity, and can help the body burn stored fat. Treats constipation, diarrhea, and indigestion, naturally antibacterial against E. coli, at least one saponin found in yerba mate destroys intestinal parasites, yerba mate increases bone density, even in people who don’t exercise, treats  bladder and kidney stones, "Post menopausal women, a group particularly at risk for osteoporosis, who regularly drank mate had almost 10% greater bone density in their spines than women who didn’t drink it. Neither groups of women exercised." Yerba mate improves heart health, and kills cancer cells.

Some traditional uses of Yerba Mate:
  • as a stimulant
  • as an overall tonic and digestive aid
  • as part of a weight loss regime
  • as a general nerve tonic for pain, fatigue, and depression
  • for allergies and sinusitis
 Yerba Mate contains:
  • vitamin A
  • vitamin C
  • vitamins B1, B2, B3, and B5
  • vitamin E
  • calcium
  • iron
  • magnesium
  • manganese
  • phosphorus
  • potassium
  • selenium
  • sodium
  • sulfur
  • zinc

I'm walkin' up The Hill with a cigarette in my pocket
And I'm not even sure if I really wanna smoke it
I'm wearin' my white pants and my maroon sweater
And my hair is adorned with more than just one feather
I'm wearin' my leather jacket and my hatchetman necklace,
I'm goin' outside and I'm feelin' pretty reckless
I got draids in my hair and I'm wearin' my America-flag sunglasses,
I'm a badass shaman among all the masses.
It's cold and rainy out and I don't give a shit,
I'd go out shirtless any day and dance in it,
I don't mind a little pain,
I don't mind a little rain,
And I don't mind a little snow,
Come-on mathufackoo let's go!
I'm goin' up The Hill.

Chorus:

I'm goin' up The Hill, I'm not going over.
I'm gonna get my fill, I'll stop growing older.
I'm gonna live so chill, I WILL LIVE FOR EVER! (End Chorus).

Everything's good at The Top of The Hill.
It's a place in the middle of life where you can always chill,
And if you stay, you never grow old,
And you don't have to believe in everything that you're told.
It's a happy medium where any juggalette,
And any juggalo, can live without regret,
It's always got a sunny glow.

I'm goin' up The Hill in the freezing cold,
And in my hand my umbrella I do hold,
The only thing to keep me out of the rain aside from my cowboy hat,
And the things I got on my body aint all that,
But it's worth the trouble to make the trip up to The Top of The Hill,
At The Top of The Hill is my home where I can and I will always chill.
What I got on my back is a lot it's the whole of my lot of my troubles in life,
All my duties, responsibilities and all my strife.
But when I get back home I can set all these things down,
And be a peaceful, loving, happy clown,
Content in my insanity,
A mindful clown, immortal by my tranquility!

I grew up listening to Green Day, Will Smith, Missy Elliot, The Beastie Boys, and Rock. I listen to Green Day when I need something that really moves me, and reawakens my heart as well as my sense of dreams, inspiration, and aspiration...it brings me home. It takes me back to a familiar place in my heart, mind, and soul when in present days I feel lost and I'm entering into unknown grounds...

My Lord I seek refuge in You from the whispers of the devils. And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they come near me. I seek refuge in God from Satan the rejected.
